Description
This overnight oats recipe is a tasty, nutritious, and convenient way to start your morning! This no-cook breakfast, made with oats, milk, and your preferred toppings, is ideal for meal prep and a great grab-and-go option on a busy morning. Ingredients
Instructions
- Add oats, milk, yogurt, maple syrup, chia seeds, vanilla, and sea salt into a jar or storage container with a lid. Stir ingredients together. Place in the fridge overnight. If you're in a hurry, you can reduce the soak time to 2-4 hours.
- The next morning (or when ready to eat), remove the lid and give the oats a big stir. If they seem too thick, you can add a little more milk to loosen the mixture. Top with your favorite toppings and enjoy. You can eat the oats straight from the jar or pour them into a bowl for serving.
- Stir 1 tablespoon of chocolate chips into the overnight oat mixture when preparing, and then sprinkle the oats with the remaining chocolate chips to serve.
- Stir 1/2 tablespoon of peanut butter into the overnight oat mixture when preparing, and then drizzle the oats with the remaining peanut butter to serve.
- Stir 2 tablespoons of berries into the overnight oat mixture when prepping and then top with a layer of jam and remaining fresh berries.

Note
- Storage: Store your overnight oats in a covered container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days. They will soften more the longer they sit, so I find they’re best on days 1-3, but they’re still safe to eat on days 4 and 5.
